Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and restrictions for using services provided by Buildservers. By using our servers, you agree to abide by this policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

Our goal is to ensure reliable, legal, and secure use of our infrastructure for all customers.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, or internationally. Prohibited uses include (but are not limited to):

  • Illegal content or activity
    Hosting, distributing, or linking to content that is unlawful, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), pirated software/media, or content that promotes terrorism, hate speech, or violence.

  • Malicious or abusive behavior
    Use of our servers to send spam, run botnets, launch DDoS attacks, distribute malware, or engage in phishing, fraud, or scams.

  • Unauthorized access
    Attempting to access or interfere with other systems, networks, or services without permission.

  • Resource abuse
    Using excessive resources in a way that degrades service quality for other customers, including CPU abuse, excessive bandwidth usage, or continuous denial-of-service behavior.

 

2. Network Integrity and Security

You must not:

  • Attempt to bypass security measures or restrictions on our systems or networks.

  • Interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure or other customers’ services.

  • Use the server as a proxy or tunneling service without prior authorization.

 

3. Intellectual Property and Copyright

You may not host or distribute copyrighted materials without proper rights or licenses. This includes pirated media, software, and tools used for copyright infringement.

 

4. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this AUP may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your services

  • Forfeiture of any refund rights, especially if the misuse directly causes harm

  • Reporting to authorities, where required by law

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take any action deemed necessary to protect our infrastructure and reputation.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
